SHEIKHUPURA, July 24: Punjab Governor Salman Taseer has said that President Pervez Musharraf is part of democracy and his impeachment will be unconstitutional.

The governor said this while talking to media people after he arrived at Jandiala Sher Khan to participate in the annual Urs of Syed Waris Shah on Thursday.

He announced Rs1 million grant for the renovation of the shrine. The governor offered fateha and also laid floral wreath on the shrine of Sufi saint. Taseer said the Waris Shah was truly called the Punjabi Shakespeare.
