HYDERABAD, April 29: The leaders of the PPP-SB Hyderabad chapter have criticised the acquittal of PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari in 15 cases including the murder case of Mir Murtaza Bhutto just in a week.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Tuesday, the chief organiser of the party, Barkat Ali Lashari, Ameen Vikio, Khashif Baghi, Zulfiqar Dhakan, and others said that the party had been reorganised and called upon the people to join the Shaheed Bhutto group and claimed that it was the true heir of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

The SB leaders who were accompanied by over two dozen people said that over 50 people in Hyderabad had joined the party and a large number of people will join the party at a workers’ convention which will be held soon here and would be addressed by party chairperson Ms Ghinwa Bhutto.

They said the party will continue its struggle to complete the mission of late Mir Murtaza Bhutto.Lashari alleged that Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza had unleashed ‘a reign of terror against PPP-SB workers in Badin’.

He severely criticised the acquittal of Asif Ali Zardari in 15 cases and added that while innocent people accused of minor crimes were languishing in jails, Mr Zardari who was involved in murder cases had been acquitted.
