ABBOTTABAD, April 7: Nadra Swift Centre was inaugurated by Nadra Chairman Brig (retired) Umer Saleem here on Thursday.

It is the second centre of such kind in the NWFP.

The opening ceremony was largely attended. Among those present on the occasion were the Director General Nadra Swift Centre Pakistan, Brig Babar Aziz Baig; the Director General Administration, M.A. Waseem; Brig Anwar Khan, Col (retired) Mustafa Jadoon, District Nazim Barrister Javed Abbasi and Naib Nazim.

In an informal chat with the participants Nadra chairman said with the establishment of the centre, which is being equipped with all latest facilities, applicants will be provided computerised National Identity Cards in shortest possible time.

He said with the computerised NICs, no one can prepare fake National Identity Cards.

He, however, asked all those who had the powers to verify the NIC forms to be careful.
