All detainees released from Attock jail

ATTOCK, Nov 23: All the political activists and lawyers detained in the Attock jail for protesting against imposition of emergency on November 3, have been released.

Those released included PPP general-secretary, Khanewal district, Haji Muhammad Iqbal, president Lodhran district, Abdul Majeed Arain; Jamaat-i-Islami leader from Bahawalnagar Abdul Sattar; convener, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Multan district, Advocate Rashid Rehman and Khaksar Tehrik leader Hameeduddin Mashriqi.
