HYDERABAD, Oct 28: The vice-chancellor of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Professor Noshad Ahmed Shaikh, has said that it is the duty of medical practitioners to wholeheartedly serve the ailing humanity because they belonged to a noble profession.

He said the doctors had no control over politics or weather but they at least had the authority to practise medicine with devotion and sincerity of purpose.

He was speaking as chief guest at a workshop organised by the paediatrics dept on “Bringing out the best in People”.
