Security tightened in Attock

ATTOCK, July 20: Security has been beefed up in the district after a series of bomb blasts in different parts of the country. A meeting in this regard was held on Friday, which was chaired by DPO Inayatullah Farooque and attended by religious scholars of all schools of thought. The DPO called upon the scholars to play their role in maintaining peace and tranquillity in the area.

The meeting was also attended by SDPOs, Maulvi Sher Zaman, Syed Pir Mohammad Shah and other scholars of the Ulema Board.—APP
