HYDERABAD, Jan 15: The president of Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) and provincial minister Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi has said that major sacrifices for creation of Pakistan were rendered by the Hur Jamat and Shaheed Suriah Badshah.

He said, now no body will be able to get votes by singing songs and added that PML- F was destined to come into power.

He was addressing a big public meeting at Tando Muhammad Khan on Monday evening. He said the people of Sindh needed a strong platform for the resolution of peoples' problems. He said, Functional League was not only a strong political party in Sindh but it is fast emerging as a force on the political horizon of the country.

He said a mass contact movement has been launched to organize the party. He said the political parties had always exploited the masses to reach the corridors of powers but had failed to resolve the problems of the people.

He said the people of Sindh were facing problems such as hunger, poverty and unemployment and for the resolution of burning issues confronting Sindh, they would have to finally decide in favour of Functional Muslim League and vote for its candidates in the forthcoming elections.

He said the people of Sindh will not be misled by any exploiter. He claimed that Functional League was the only party which was in a position to resolve the problems of poor people and the destitute. Pir Rashidi said that his party will not tolerate any excesses against the women folk.

Speaking on the occasion, the speaker of Sindh Assembly, Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, said that for all practical purposes, Functional Muslim League was the real spokesman of the Sindhi people. He said today the slogans of "Bhej Pagara" were being raised throughout the country.

He said Sindh was in dire need of political leadership and added that Functional League alone was in a position to provide the leadership. He said the people have to unite under the leadership of Pir Saheb Pagaro.

He said, today people right from Jacobabad to Thatta have been deprived of all basic facilities.

Syed Muzzaffar Hussain Shah said that Pir Pagara was the only political leader, who had never sought any office for himself but distributed posts. The others, who spoke at the public meeting included district president of the party, Tariq Nizamani, Altaf Nizamani and others. Many influential people announced joining PML (F).
