Three siblings drown in rainwater

TOBA TEK SINGH: Three children of a family drowned in rainwater accumulated in Pathan Colony of Ferozewala in Sheikhupura district on Sunday evening.

As per reports, after a breach occurring in Bhairh Nullah, rainwater entered houses in Pathan Colony and also accumulated in low-lying spaces.

Local sources say that three siblings, aged between 10 and 15 years, were playing in the rainwater when they slipped into a deep area and disappeared in the water.

On learning about the incident, locals retrieved the children, identified as Daniyal, Noaman and Burhan, and shifted them to the Ferozwala THQ Hospital, where doctors confirmed they had died.
