FIA recovers Rs220 million bank loan

ISLAMABAD The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle Islamabad has recovered Rs220 million bank loan from M/s Zubair Feeds (Pvt) Ltd, officials said on Saturday.

According to the FIA, the inquiry was initiated on the complaint of Salman Arif regarding non-payment of loan by the company to Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited.

Sub-Inspector Kashif Mehmood, the inquiry officer, pursued the matter professionally, following which the defaulter paid the entire outstanding amount.

According to a press release issued by FIA Islamabad zone, Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited has formally confirmed that the loan has been fully repaid and no dues remain outstanding.

The FIA said the recovery reflects its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the banking sector and ensuring accountability in financial matters.
