The head of Iran’s Forensic Medicine Organisation, Abbas Masjedi Arani, has said US-Israeli attacks during the war killed more than 3,000 people in Iran, Al Jazeera reports.

Speaking to Iran’s Mizan Online outlet, Masjedi Arani said about 40 per cent of the bodies could not initially be identified, adding that forensic teams, working with the judiciary, are continuing efforts to process and identify the casualties.
