High-speed stunt results in crash on Ring Road Lahore

LAHORE: A rashly-driven luxury vehicle rammed into a car on the Ring Road, leaving the car almost completely damaged here on Thursday.

A video clip of the accident uploaded on social media captured the driver of the vehicle driving it zigzag on the high-speed road of the city.

Ignoring the precautions on the Ring Road near Kahna Kacha Interchange, he risked the lives of other fast-moving car riders while overtaking from the wrong side (left side) dangerously.

The clip showed as the driver moved his luxury vehicle on the left lane abruptly on the Ring Road, it rammed into a car. As a result, both the vehicles got stuck on the protective fences of the Ring Road.

The driver of the luxury vehicle left his four wheeler on the spot and escaped to avoid the police action. He was later identified as Ali Shah.

A police official said the car rider suffered injuries and the Ring Road police reached the site on being alerted to initiate action.

He said a first information report was later lodged against the fleeing driver of the luxury vehicle and police teams had launched a search for his arrest.In another accident that took place near Gajjumata, a woman and her 12-year-old son lost their lives.

A Rescue spokesperson said a rashly driven car hit a motorbike which led to

the death of Naseem (35) and her son, Zamam (12).
