Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that the distressing incidents occurring in the province’s “neighbourhood” had caused “profound grief to the entire Muslim Ummah, and conveying this grief to the world through protests is a natural response”.
“Balochistan Police and the administration will cooperate with all protesting demonstrators to maintain peace and order while facilitating the recording of protests, extending every possible assistance for upholding peace,” he said.
However, he warned that taking the law into one’s own hands under the guise of protests and causing harm to the assets and citizens of one’s own country would not be tolerated.
