DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Dera Ismail Khan, has announced results of Intermediate Annual-II (supplementary) examination 2025, the other day.
According to board officials, a total of 8,027 candidates appeared in the Intermediate Part-I examination, of whom 7,569 were declared successful, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 94.29.
In the humanities group (Part-I), 1,045 candidates appeared, while 853 passed, recording a pass percentage of 81.63. The success rate of regular female candidates stood at 92.21 per cent, significantly higher than the 77.09pc recorded for regular male candidates.
In the ICS group, 1,566 candidates appeared and 1,468 were declared successful, reflecting a pass percentage of 93.74. Performance in the science groups remained comparatively strong. In the Pre-Medical group, 4,888 out of 5,029 candidates passed the examination, with a pass percentage of 97.2.
In the Pre-Engineering group, 332 candidates out of 356 were declared successful, recording a pass percentage of 93.26. In the General Science group, 28 out of 31 candidates passed. For Intermediate Part-II (private candidates), officials said 3,096 candidates appeared in the examinations, of whom 2,698 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 87.14.
In the Pre-Medical group (Part-II, private), 1,660 out of 1,764 candidates were declared successful, with a pass percentage of 94.1. Of these, 841 candidates secured A-1 grade, while 408 obtained A grade. In the Pre-Engineering group, 133 out of 151 candidates passed, recording a pass percentage of 88.08.
The General Science group showed the weakest performance, where only 17 out of 53 candidates were declared successful, reflecting a pass percentage of 32.08, the lowest among all groups.
In the Humanities group (Part-II, private), 484 out of 660 candidates passed, recording a pass percentage of 73.33, while the ICS group saw 404 successful candidates out of 468, achieving a pass percentage of 86.32. Grade-wise data shows that 902 candidates secured A-1 grade, 597 A grade, 500 B grade, 489 C grade, 202 D grade, while eight candidates were placed in E grade.
