DERA GHAZI KHAN: Two workers were burnt to death while another was injured in a fire that broke out at the Sheikhoo Sugar Mills, Sanawan, in a suburb of Kot Addu on Tuesday.

Rescue 1122 teams extinguished the flames, and transported the injured worker to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Police say the blaze was caused by a short circuit, which rapidly engulfed the area where labourers were working. Both victims, who could not be identified, succumbed to their injuries at the site.

A case has been filed against the mills management with the Sanawan Police Station.
