ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) has announced that it will proceed with the sale of a key property in Karachi.

A company spokesman stated on Wednesday that PTCL has recently invited bids for the sale of one of its prime properties located on I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi.

The bidding process is set to close on May 31.

“Seeing the interest of the investors, it has been decided to proceed as planned, with no extension in the final date for bid submission,” the spokesman said and added that PTCL is fully authorised to monetise/sell its real estate assets in accordance with applicable laws after necessary approvals. He added that several properties that are no longer required for operational use have been duly approved for sale following the completion of all requisite legal formalities.
