ISLAMABAD: A special exhibition paying tributes to Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah opened at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) on Saturday to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Pakistan Resolution.

The exhibition titled, ‘Tribute to Quaid on Pakistan Day’, features a unique collection of portraits of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah created by renowned Pakistani artists, including master artists Ismail Gulgee, Colin David and Saeed Akhtar, says a press release.

The artworks and photographs on display offer a glimpse into the life and times of the Quaid and serve as a reminder of the importance of unity, perseverance and dedication to the nation.

“We are honoured to celebrate Pakistan Day with this special tribute to Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah,” said PNCA Director General M. Ayoub Jamali.

“This exhibition is a testament to the Quaid’s enduring legacy and a celebration of Pakistani history, art and culture,” he added.

The exhibition will run till March 25 at the National Art Gallery and will be open to public for free.

“We invite art enthusiasts, students and the general public to join us in paying tribute to the Quaid and celebrating the spirit of Pakistan,” Mr Jamali said.
