DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Additional Inspector General of Police (Investigation) Mohammad Alam Shinwari said here the other day that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police should increase reliance on modern technology to prevent crimes and timely completion of investigations of cases.

He stated this while presiding over a high-level meeting held at the Range Police Office, here, which was also attended by Regional Police Officer (RPO) Nasir Mehmood Satti, SPs of Investigation branch of DI Khan, Tank, Upper South Waziristan and Lower South Waziristan.

Speaking on the occasion, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Muhammad Alam Shinwari said that the training was being given to all the investigation officers regarding adoption of modern techniques in investigating heinous crimes.

Earlier, RPO DI Khan, Nasir Mehmood Satti briefed the meeting in detail about the issues being faced by the police in the investigation process.
