LAHORE: A woman salon owner, who survived an ambush on May 22 in Defence IV, has accused her husband of planning the attack because she had refused to delete her Instagram account.

The woman, who received six bullets in the ambush, released a video from the hospital, claiming her husband had been threatening her over the phone to delete her social media account.

According to the woman, she did not take the threats seriously, thinking that her husband would not harm her as she is the mother of his children. She demanded security from the police, fearing further threats.

The police have registered a case against two unidentified people on the complaint of her uncle, but the woman has raised objections to the police investigation, claiming that they have failed to arrest any suspect.
