MIRPURKHAS: A man allegedly beat his wife, mother of seven, to death in Jhuddo town on Friday.

Family sources said that Abdul Jabbar Leghari subjected his wife Hajra Jarwar, 40, mother of seven children, to severe torture and left her at her father’s house in Mir Ghulam Hussain Colony where she died from internal wounds after some time.

The husband escaped while the woman’s family brought her body to government hospital for autopsy.

Jhuddo police lodged a case against the accused husband and carried out raids in different areas to arrest him.
