What would you do if sprinklers ruin your field ahead of an important event, the alternate playground is all grassy and rocky, and the kickball gets stolen by an eagle, within 24 hours?

Of course, call Paw Patrol for help, which is exactly what Mayor Goodway did moments before Adventure Bay was to host a charity event. How Ryder and his team manage to save the games is what is shown in the appropriately titled book.

Based on the hit Nickelodeon Series Paw Patrol, this book takes you on a fun-filled journey where Ryder and his team — Chase, Skye, Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, and Everest — get called up for a job, moments before the start of a special charity sports day. Since the charity event was being organised to generate money so that Ringmaster Raimundo could get a new big tent for his monkeys, everyone chipped in and did their bit for a worthy cause.

The 28-page book covers the entire day expertly. First of all, every major character from the series gets to make an appearance in this fast-paced story. The narration style is not much different from the animated series, which has entertained kids for a long time. And finally, the standard of the adventures is high-class and the readers realise that no matter how hard the problem is, Ryder and his team will have a solution.

You might get lost in the animated world of Paw Patrol easily through this book, because it is a very colourful world, and more importantly, it teaches kids like you many things. From the significance of standing with your friends when they need you to trusting your team and listening to your leader, this book explains to readers the importance of harmony, teamwork and discipline. Ryder’s Pup could have taken another route, but they stuck to the plan, which is why their adventure was considered good enough to be documented.

Don’t worry if you don’t know much about Paw Patrol; don’t be shy if you aren’t into reading lengthy sentences, this book breaks the narration in such a way that every reader wants to know what’s going to happen in the next page, and whether Paw Patrolwould succeed in their mission or not.

All you have to do is remember one thing while reading this book, ‘When you’re in trouble, just yelp for help!’ and things will become easier to solve with, or without Paw Patrol being there!
