LAHORE: Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Tuesday that they demanded a separate province for Wasaib rather than a secretariat for south Punjab.
During a visit to the South Punjab Secretariat in Multan, he said the south Punjab region ensued food security for the whole country.
He expressed his desire to establish a separate high court and a public service commission for the Seraiki region. He assured full support for the region’s development.
