HYDERABAD, Feb 11: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, is organizing a science fair-2006 from March 3 to 11 with a view to engaging the youth in healthy activities and exploiting their talents.

Exhibits/models prepared by students of Higher Secondary Certificate in subjects of science will be displayed 10am to 4pm.

For boys, the venue will be the Government College, Hyderabad, and for girls, the Government Girls’ College.

A prize distribution ceremony will be held on March 11 at 11:30am at the Government Girls’ College.

DIALDAS CLUB: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil visited the Dialdas Club on Friday and directed officers concerned to develop it to the standard of other clubs of the city.

He said the Dialdas Club, Ladies Club, Basant Hall, Moti Mahal, Holmstead Hall and other historical buildings and places were assets and legacy of Hyderabad which should be developed and preserved.

He directed the EDO, revenue, to prepare a plan for renovation of the Dialdas Club and ensure its membership and governing body according to its bylaws.

The district government had taken over the management of the club following a dispute among two groups in which police were also called to prevent any breach of peace.
