KARACHI: A woman was shot dead allegedly by her husband in the name of so-called honour in Orangi Town on Friday, police said.

They said the victim woman, 25-year-old Gul Razi, was shot at and killed by her husband, Abdul Ghani.

Pirabad SHO Imran Afridi said that after killing his wife, the suspect surrendered himself before the police along with the pistol used in the murder.

He told the police that he had doubts about the character of his wife, and, therefore, he had killed her. He did not express any remorse, the SHO added. The victim was the mother of three daughters.
