SUKKUR: Three persons were killed and two others wounded when two rival groups belonging to the Marri community attacked each other with firearms in Langa Marri village of Khairpur district on Monday.

The two sides had been at odds for long over ownership of a piece of agricultural land.

The deceased were identified as Attar Marri, Sharif Marri, and Ghulam Hussain Marri, and the wounded persons as Shaman Ali Marri and Sobat Ali Marri.
