Pitfalls of complaining

This is with reference to the article “Pitfalls of complaining” by Umema Imran (YW, April 29). Most people complain, however, it becomes a problem when they do it pointlessly, making others uncomfortable and annoyed.

Some people constantly complain, instead of looking for a solution. The writer has described these people through a story and provided appropriate solutions.

The article was well-written and left me impressed.

Complaining can be a natural response to difficult situations or circumstances. However, it can also become a habit that is counterproductive and harmful.

Umema Imran’s article “The pitfalls of complaining” provided valuable insights on the negative effects of excessive complaining and the benefits of practicing gratitude and acceptance. The writer beautifully narrated a story to demonstrate the harmful impact of constant complaining on oneself and others.

Cheating is wrong

This is regarding the story “Cheating is wrong” by Aun Yousaf Raza (YW, May 6). I liked the story very much.

The writer highlights the importance of maintaining one’s integrity and avoiding the temptation of cheating through an impactful story.

No doubt, cheating leaves a bad mark on one’s personality and overall life and it is hard to remove it. It is my advice to readers to always avoid such an act, no matter how tempting it may seem.
