Disney+ is teasing the new film Peter Pan & Wendy. The streaming service shared a featurette for the film featuring writer and director David Lowery and cast members Jude Law, Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson and Yara Shahidi.

Peter Pan & Wendy is a live-action remake of the 1953 animated Disney film Peter Pan, based on the J.M. Barrie play of the same name.

The new movie centres on Wendy Darling (Anderson), a young girl who meets Peter Pan (Molony) and travels with him to Neverland. Law plays Peter’s nemesis Captain Hook. The movie will feature “action on a huge scale” and explore the origin of the feud between Peter and Captain Hook.

Sylvester Stallone has delighted audiences for generations with his movies like Rocky, Rambo, The Expendables and Cliffhanger.

Now 30 years after Cliffhanger’s release Stallone is reprising the role of Gabe Walker for a sequel, with Stallone’s production company, Balboa Productions, set to co-produce the film.

Released in 1993, in Cliffhanger, Stallone played haunted mountain ranger Gabe Walker who, after heading to rescue the survivors of a plane crash, discovers that the so-called ‘victims’ are, in fact, a group of dangerous crooks looking to recover $100 million. Cliffhanger is widely considered to be one of Stallone’s best movies.

When Inside Out was released in 2015, it was adored not just by children but also by adults, critics and awards panels. The comedy movie follows 11-year-old Riley after she and her family leave the Midwest behind for the bright lights of San Francisco. Through the personified emotions in her head — Joy, Anger, Disgust, and Fear — we see how Riley navigates all the changes going on in her life.

Inside Out is possibly the best Pixar movie and its sequel is finally in the works, set for release on June 14, 2024. The animated movie will be directed by Kelsey Mann, produced by Mark Nielsen, and written by Meg LeFauve.

We know that Amy Poehler will be returning as Joy, unfortunately, there are rumours that Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling won’t be returning as Fear and Disgust.

We also know that there will be a host of new emotions for us to fall in love with. So until further news, just keep your fingers crossed!
