Studying for exams during Ramazan

This is regarding the cover article “Studying for exams during Ramazan” by Faraz Ahmed (YW, April 1). All the tips mentioned in the article benefited me and I hope they will be beneficial for others too.

The best time to study is really something I wanted to know personally to regain motivation to study for examinations. I am glad to read such an article and I hope to see more like these. I personally have started following the tips and recommend all the readers to read the article.

Brave but not safe!

This is regarding the story “Brave but not safe!” by Mohammad Usman Khan (YW, March 25). The story taught its readers that while bravery is certainly an admirable quality, it’s equally important to prioritise one’s safety, as acts of courage can sometimes lead to risks and one must consider his/her well-being first.

Cook-it-yourself

This is regarding the recipe section Cook-it-yourself “Chilli and cheese bread bowl” by Aamnah Arshad (YW, March 11).

It was an easy to make snack, perfect for evenings and whenever someone craves for something cheesy and spicy food. I love making cheesy snack so it was one of the best options I got to try. Moreover, the recipe included ingredients that are commonly found in almost all households.

An extra chromosome

This is with reference to the story “An extra chromosome” by Umema Imran (YW, March 18). I agree with the writer that kids or adults with Down syndrome need more attention, love and care. However, there are also people who hurt and criticise them for their different features. We must not forget that they are also created by God and we are also created by Him, therefore, we all are equal. People should be given more awareness about Down syndrome and more articles should be published regarding this and other diseases.

Optimism leads to happiness

The is with reference to the story “Optimism leads to happiness” by Muhammad Qasim Shafi (YW, April 1). The story provided lessons regarding being optimistic in every walk of life. Optimistic people have a tendency to be more resilient and are better capable of dealing with pressure compared to the pessimistic ones. So one should always have a positive approach to every problem or task in life.
