DERA GHAZI KHAN: To deal with the criminal elements here in Dera Ghazi Khan division, security was boosted for the Chinese camps and police installations.

South Punjab Additional Inspector General Sahibzada Shahzad Sultan visited Taunsa with Dera Ghazi Khan RPO Syed Khurram Ali and reviewed security arrangements. He visited the family of martyred head constable Mazhar Khan and presented them with a relief cheque

Mr Sultan concluded his visit by visiting Picket Jhangi and inspecting the site of the terrorist attack. Two motorcyclists killed police officer Mazhar and civilian Basit while injuring another cop, Ramzan. He praised the duty of the jawans against the terrorists and directed them to perform their duty. He asked them to ensure the use of helmets and jackets and the regular cleaning of weapons.
