The meeting discussed preparations for digital census in Malakand division. Shaukat Ali Khan briefed the meeting about district-wise preparations for the seventh population and housing census, 2022.

“It will be the first digital census in the history of Pakistan in which complete data of the citizens will be obtained from the field and collected under the online system,” he said. He added that the commissioner was nominated as divisional census coordinator while deputy commissioners would act as district coordinator and assistant commissioners as district census officers at tehsil level.
