Man kills brother over property dispute

KARACHI: A man was murdered in Baldia Town allegedly by his brother over some property dispute on Sunday.

The Medina Colony police said that Ali Nawaz, 36, was found slaughtered inside his home in Rangar Mohalla sector D-3.

They said that it appeared that the body had lain there for three-four days.

The corpse was shifted to the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi to complete medico-legal formalities.

Area SHO Ghulam Rasool Arbab said that the victim had sold his property worth Rs2.1 million recently, which triggered a dispute. The officer said that Islamuddin, the suspect, came from Sakrand, Nawabshah, and stayed with his brother, Nawaz, for some days, and then allegedly murdered him and fled.
