Nine more die of Covid in Sindh

KARACHI: As many as nine more patients of Covid-19 died and 615 new cases emerged overnight across the province, a statement issued from the Chief Minister House said on Saturday.

It said 13,837 samples were tested which detected 615 cases that constituted 4.4 per cent detection rate.

Out of 615 new cases, 251 cases have been detected from Hyderabad followed by 193 cases from Karachi.

The statement said currently 44,161 patients were under treatment including 43,911 in home isolation, 20 at isolation centres and 230 at different hospitals. He added that the condition of 213 patients was stated to be critical, including 16 shifted to ventilators.
