MUZAFFARABAD: A nine-year-old victim of Thursday’s bomb blast in Lahore was laid to rest in his native village near Muzaffarbad on Friday.

According to family members, Absar Ahmed was going to Karachi for sightseeing from their native Talgran village towards the south of Muzaffarabad along with his two maternal uncles and their families. But little did they know that the minor would return home from the middle of journey in a coffin.

They stayed in a Rawalpindi hotel on Wednesday night. On Thursday they arrived in Lahore, from where they had to board the Karachi bound train the next morning.

They all were strolling in the historic Anarkali area when the blast occurred leaving Absar critically injured. Later, he succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.
