The crazy stories behind colours

This is regarding the cover article “The crazy stories behind colours” by Faraz Ahmed (YW, October 23). I really enjoyed reading the article, because almost all the information in the article was new for me. In fact, I was surprised to read how these colours were created in the ancient times.

It was a painstaking task to get the desired hues and today, although synthetic, we are lucky to easily have hundreds of shades of each colour.

I really loved the article and request Young World to publish more such articles with unique information like this one.

Education for children

If I could give one thing to every child in the world, it would be education. Every child has the right to get education. Every child has the right to make his/her dreams come true.

There are millions of children in the world who are unable to get education due to their poor conditions. We always blame the authorities and the government for not facilitating the common people with necessary things.

However, it is also our duty, as people who are affluent and can easily bear the expenses, to play our part and help the poor kids to get education.

If educated, these kids will make their future and the future of our country bright.

Candy fun for everyone!

This is regarding the website review “Candy fun for everyone!” by Asif Ali (YW October 23). Candies, in whichever form, are absolutely the most favourite thing for every child and adult.

I didn’t know before that we can experiment with candies and learn a great deal through the process.

I had not come across any website that tells about how we can do experiments. And after going through this site, I found it fun and tried out a few experiments.

I want to suggest that there should be more reviews of sites that have fun science experiments using everyday objects.

Movie review

This is regarding the movie review Teen Titans Go! See Space Jam by Muhammad Suhayab (YW, October 16). The movie review was well defined and it gave a clear picture of the characters and the story.

I like to watch movies in my free time and the movie reviews published in the magazine help me watch something new almost every week.
