LAKKI MARWAT: A seven-year-old boy was assaulted in Multan Manjiwala locality here on Monday.

The Lakki Marwat police said the boy had gone to a shop run by a villager to buy food items, but the shopkeeper took him to a private school and assaulted him there.

The boy narrated the ordeal to his mother, who later informed her husband about the incident.

The police said they had arrested the culprit during a raid after registering a case against him on the complaint of the boy’s father.

Separately, two people were killed over a property dispute in Takhtikhel Bakkakhel area of Bannu, the police said on Monday. They said Zer Kalam and Saeedullah exchanged fire, killing each other.

The bodies were shifted to the district headquarters hospital in Bannu city.

The Bakkakhel police registered separate cases and began investigations.
