KOHAT: A student of the Cadet College, Kohat, stood first in the secondary school certificate examination results announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Kohat, on Wednesday.

Safi Imam belonging to science group obtained 1,094 marks out of 1,100.

The second position was shared by a student of the same college, Mohammad Sohail, and Ms Ayesha Raheem of Iqraa School and College, securing 1,092 marks each.

Ms Shifa Shah Bokhari of Iqraa School and College stood third by getting 1,090 marks.

In the arts group, Ms Anmol of government girls high school, Mohammad Hussain Mela, got the first position with 966 marks, Ms Ruqayya Bibi and Ms Ayesha Bibi of government high school, Kohat, and government girls high school, Baizadi Chakar Kot, shared the second position with 964 marks each, while the third position went to Ms Anfal of government girls high school, Thall Hangu, getting 956 marks.

Kohat division commissioner Javed Marwat was the chief guest at the result announcing ceremony, and gave away trophies and medals to the outstanding students.
