LAKKI MARWAT: A man was killed in the name of honour in Mamakhel area of Naurang town here on Sunday.

Police said that Jamil Khan, 36, was on way to the village from Naurang Bazaar on his motorcycle when rivals attacked him near the flour mill.

They said that Jamil received bullet injuries and died on the spot. They said that alleged attackers, including Khan Daraz, Mohammad Ali and Shahab, escaped while the body was shifted to the tehsil headquarters hospital for autopsy.

Qismatullah, brother of the deceased, told police in his preliminary report that Jamil Khan had ‘contacted’ the sister of Khan Daraz for marriage. Police said that they handed over the body to relatives for burial and have registered a case against the alleged killers.
