Disney Storybook Collection

This is with reference to the book review “Disney Storybook Collection” by Omair Alavi (YW, May 1). I appreciate the contributor for sharing with us some awesome children’s books.

It is always exciting to read something new every week, however, what I wish the writer to include is the price of each book he reviews, and from where one can buy the book.

It would be great if the writer and Young World consider my suggestion.

Strangest objects sent into space

This is with reference to the cover story “Strangest objects sent into space” by Faraz Ahmed (YW, May 22). It was a wonderful article and quite fun to read.

I didn’t know such unusual stuff like corned beef sandwiches, toys and even slime have been sent into space for the purpose of research and to notice the effects of zero gravity on these objects.

I am thankful to the writer as well as the YW team for publishing such an amazing article.

Dictionaries are essential

This is an apropos to the article “Dictionaries are essential” by Ahmad Hassan Nadeem (YW, April 10).

I agree with the views of the writer that dictionaries are essential because they develop our understanding of the language in terms of abbreviations, pronunciation and the various uses of the specific words.

The tips on how to use the dictionary were quite helpful too.

Dignity of labour

This is an apropos to the cover story “Dignity of labour” by Rizwana Naqvi (YW, May 1). I agree with the writer that workers in our country still do not enjoy as many rights as workers in developed countries.

In fact, workers or labourers in our country are more exploited than in other countries in the world. This is a sad fact that no one pays attention to these helpless, poor people.

These poor labourers are also humans and need the same things as any other person does. Unfortunately, no one is considerate towards the poor.

Their services are taken beyond their capacity, which is unfair and unethical to them. I want my fellow readers to be kind to labourers and not look at them as just workers, but as humans with equal rights who also deserve to be respected all the time.
