RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD: A woman was sexually assaulted by six people in Dhoke Chaudhrian, Chaklala Scheme III, police said.

The woman lodged an FIR with the Airport police stating that she had been living in a rented house in Chaklala Scheme III for the last one year.

She said the owner of the house often teased her and asked her to make friendship with him otherwise vacate his house.

The woman said when she told her mother about the matter, the latter went to the house of the landlord and complained to his parents.

She said at 10:30pm on May 23, the house owner along with five unidentified people forcibly entered her house and dragged her into a room where she was raped by them.

The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
