The article “Speed up your memory” by Tooba Khan was nicely written. The article contained quotes, phrases and catchy words; however, the best part that I never knew was the complete form of FAST.

I would recommend to my friends to read this article as it is very useful, with guidelines about ways to sharpen one’s memory.

The article “Speed up your memory” by Tooba Khan guides students like me, about how to enhance studying skills and memory. I liked the point when the writer pointed out that she used to write to link memory with emotions.

It is true that you remember more if you write it immediately. Besides that, it described the ways to focus on one thing by assuming known things as “unknown” in order to learn them for a longer time, setting other tasks aside for a while.

We, students, are grateful to Young World as it always publishes articles that are for the betterment of readers on social, ethical and educational topics.

The day I turned into a superhero

This is with reference to the story “The day I turned into a superhero!” by Ammar Hussain (YW, February 6). I was surprised by how interesting the story turned out to be. I am grateful to the writer for coming up with such a unique idea.

Cricket fever once again!

This is regarding the cover article “Cricket fever once again!” by Hassan Shahid (YW, March 13). I was glad to read the article on PSL in the magazine, because sports are usually not covered in any children magazine; I would request the YW to publish more sports articles in the future.

The hiccups

This is with reference to the story “The hiccups” by Warisha Ali Khan (YW, March 13). It was a nice story. The writer brilliantly described the connection between mind and the body.

It is true that simply changing the way one thinks and taking charge of what occupies our mind can improve physical health and well-being.
