Rainbow pencil toppers

This is with reference to the section Wonder crafts, “Rainbow pencil toppers” by Asif Ali (YW, 23rd January). When I opened the magazine, I was so happy to see the rainbow pencil topper craft.

It was easy so I tried it, and it turned out to be so beautiful. I thank the writer and Young World, which is a full treat for all of us.

New Year resolution chart

This is regarding The wonder crafts “New Year resolution chart” by Asif Ali (YW, December 26). Every year I give myself some challenges, so this craft really helped me plan how to achieve my challenges.

It was an easy, yet beautiful way, of making a colourful month-wise chart. I think it is easy for those who make resolutions, but are unclear of when to begin their challenge. In my opinion, by following the month-wise chart, we can easily see which challenge or goal we have to pursue each month.

How to spot a true friend

This is regarding the cover story “How to spot a true friend” by Syeda Dua Fatima (YW, January 16). I liked the article very much. We make friends of all types, some helpful, some careless, while some having none of these traits at all.

Sometimes it becomes too difficult to spot or make a good friend, and this article proved very helpful in reminding us about the good traits of a friend and how to look for them in a person.

The cover story “How to spot a true friend,” by Syeda Dua Fatima was nicely written. We often misjudge our true friends and the friendship ends soon. It is important to keep in mind that true friends will never judge you for any of yours bad habits, in fact they will help you get rid of any problems you have and will encourage you in anything good that you do.

So, it is important for all of us to keep in mind some main points of the article.

Am I harming the world?

This is with reference to the article “Am I harming the world?” by Ali Aaliyan Rizvi (YW, January 16). The article highlighted some important issues regarding global warming and how we are damaging our beautiful Mother Earth.

If we don’t stop damaging our planet, like cutting the trees and high consumption of energy while taking away all the resources the planet offers us, it will soon be too late. We should act together to save our beautiful land.
