SHEIKHUPURA: A man allegedly shot his father dead over a property dispute in Madina Colony near Qila Sattar Shah on Sunday.
According to police, Azeem Malik, a resident of Madina Colony, had contracted a second marriage after the death of his first wife. As Malik transferred his agricultural land to his second wife, Ms Farzana, his son (from his first wife) Ali Haider got annoyed.
On Sunday, Haider exchanged words with his father over the issue, and in a fit of anger shot Malik dead with his pistol. The suspect then fled the scene.
Factory Area police have started investigation without any arrest so far.
