LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) of Punjab claimed that it had retrieved land worth billions from illegal occupation of Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar in a joint operation carried out by personnel of the ACE, district administration and police on Sunday morning.

In a statement issued here, a spokesman for the ACE said that Mr Khokhar had illegally occupied over 80 kanals of expensive property by preparing fake documents of “heirs” and getting it transferred to his alleged front-men UC chairmen Mobeen Dawood, Afzal Khan and Mubashar in collusion with the revenue officials concerned.

The property was said to belong originally to a Parsee couple who died before 1920 and it was fraudulently taken over by Mr Khokhar’s “front-men” in 2015 by producing fake heirs, it said.

Mr Khokhar is a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz whose social media convention was held at one of his properties, in Johar Town, on Sunday that was addressed by Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, according to sources.
