KHYBER: An official of Frontier Corps was killed and three other people were injured in separate traffic accidents here on Thursday.

Officials at Torkham border said that Imran, a Chitral Scouts personnel, was hit to death by a loaded vehicle at the border zero point while he was performing his official duty.

His body was first taken to Bala Hisar Fort in Peshawar for funeral and then sent to Chitral for burial.

Police in Landi Kotal said that two persons were injured when a speedy car skidded off the road at Charwazgai Chowk. Another resident received injuries near Takhta Beg checkpost in Jamrud and was taken to local hospital.
