PESHAWAR: The PC-1 of the 360-kilometre Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway has been prepared and would soon be presented before the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) for approval.
Before the final approval, the PC-1 would be presented in the pre-PDWP meeting soon for review.
Briefing additional chief secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan about the project during a meeting here on Tuesday, communication and works department officials said the motorway would have 19 interchanges, according to a statement issued here.
The statement said the interchanges were supposed to facilitate Peshawar, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan districts.
