NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: A woman and her two children were killed and husband and another child were injured when a trailer truck hit their motorcycle at Saleh Rajpar village on the National Highway near Kandiaro town, 30 kilometres from here on Saturday.

The deceased identified as Nimani, her son Zeeshan, 7, and daughter Muskan, 9, and the injured husband Roshan Jogi and another child were brought to Kandiaro taluka hospital.

The bodies were later handed over to relatives after completion of medico-legal formalities and the injured were admitted for treatment.

Kandiaro police have arrested the truck driver and taken the vehicle into custody.

In a similar accident, another speeding trailer truck hit a motorcycle near Moro-Dadu Road, killing the rider identified as Ghulam Qadir Jatoi on the spot.

The body was brought to Moro taluka hospital for medico-legal formalities.
