All human beings in this world want to be happy. We not only want, but also need to be happy because happiness makes us healthy.

If you ask a couple of people that what would make them happy? Their answers will be totally different from one another. For example, some people will say that riches and comfort will make them happy. Some would answer that their family and friends are the source of their happiness, while some will say that working hard and being busy will make them happy.

Aren’t all the answers completely different from one another? This is because a person knows very well how he can be happy. We all have different definitions of happiness, but most common among these are doing what we love and spending time with those whom we love.

We become sad very easily at every up and down of our lives. We become upset after doing even a small mistake. The biggest mistake we all do is that we all blame a lot, we blame ourselves, our lives and even this whole wide world for anything that goes wrong or makes us sad.

We never appreciate the presence of our loved ones until we lost them. We never appreciate our abilities until we become disabled. Most of us are not grateful with whatever we have. We try to realise the fact that whatever God has given us, He can take it back as well.

There is this quote that I find very meaningful, regarding happiness: “Be happy with whatever you have before it’s taken.”

We all should be happy whatever way we are and with whatever we have, as God have given us priceless abilities and talents hidden inside ourselves and we just have to find them. We should be thankful for every breath that we take and just feel good that we are alive.

We all seek happiness everywhere, but didn’t realise that it lies inside us. Happiness is a choice. If we chose to be happy, we will.
