The operation against the defaulters was conducted with the help of enforcement squad and police.
Meanwhile, another team of LDA’s Directorate of Estate Management-I conducted an anti-encroachment operation in the G-1Market (Johar Town) and retrieved illegally occupied parking spaces in front of shops by demolishing unlawfully built structures and removing other hurdles that had been hampering pedestrians’ movement, besides obstructing smooth flow of traffic.
The local shopkeepers had illegally rented out these spaces and were charging vendors on a monthly basis. The operation improved the traffic circulation in the area.
Moreover, a team demolished seven structures and sealed another two during an operation against illegal constructions in Quaid-e-Azam Town and New Garden Town.
