DADU: Heavy rain and strong winds lashed different parts of Dadu and Jamshoro districts on Saturday, uprooting electricity poles, filling up depressions and low-lying areas and causing natural drains to flow with rainwater.

The torrential rain battered Gorakh Hill Station, Karo Kot, Kachho, Thanu Bula Khan, Karchat, Sari, Mole, Jamshoro, Kotri, Sann, Manjhand and Sann towns and filled up natural drains of Nai Gaaj, Nai Nali, Nai Sori, Nai Sann and Nai Baran.

Strong winds accompanying the rainfall uprooted at least 20 electricity poles and caused suspension in power supply to different parts of Jamshoro district.
