The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that the coronavirus tests of all players, support staff, match officials, broadcasters and team owners have come back negative.
According to an official statement issued by the board, the tests were conducted after officials suspected one of the players had contracted the virus.
PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said: “The board will continue to put in place precautionary measures to better safeguard the health of its employees."
He also urged cricket fans and followers to exercise absolute caution. "[We] can overcome this pandemic by maintaining hygiene, avoiding close physical contact [...] staying away from gatherings [...] and spreading awareness about safety measures."
