BAHAWALPUR: A complete schedule of 500 kilometres long 15th Cholistan Jeep Rally has been released by the organisers.

As per the schedule, on Feb 13 the registration and inspection of the vehicles participating in the rally will be carried out that will be followed by medical examination of their drivers and navigators.

Later, in the evening, the same day, a conference of the drivers and navigators would be held, besides the qualifying round of the vehicles.

It says on Feb 14 the first round of the jeep rally, to be participated by pre-paid vehicles, will be held in Cholistan, while on Feb 15 the first round of stock category vehicles and competition among the women drivers would be held in the desert.

The same night, a cultural show near the Derawar Fort will be held wherein Cholistani folk singers along with some of the noted national singers may perform.

On Feb 16, the last day of the jeep rally, the second round of the pre-paid vehicles will be held along with the first-ever “Dirt Bike Race” in the desert.

The 15th jeep rally will be rounded off with a prize-distribution function to be held at night in the desert.

The jeep rally is scheduled to pass through six decaying forts -- Ding Garh, Marot, Khan Garh, Bijnot, Maujgarh and Jam Garh.
